It Snowed Today!

We woke up to a blaket of snow this morning. Finally started melting at lunchtime. Zac seems to think that sleep is a bad thing. His naps are few and only last about ten minutes. Then he is grumpy because he's tired. When Zac is happy he is very active. You can see him trying to get out of his chair. He does not cuddle, but wants to be held so he can jump and kick. We have gotten some e-mails from Ry and he is doing good. Said he is working a lot and only gets about four hours of sleep a day.

Enjoying Every Precious Moment!

The boys annd I had a fun Easter morning. Seth loved looking for eggs in the house. Thank you to all who sent the kids the cards, etc. We went to church as usual, where I found out that our good friends' daughter was undergoing a last effort surgery to fight MRSA. Finding out just before dinner that she has passed on to the otherside. She was 16. My heart aches for their family. So I am enjoying every precious moment with my boys. Very grateful to have them.

Easter Fun Saturday

We started our day at the church Easter Party where Seth got to play games and decorate cookies.
This is one of Seth's friends Chase. They are picking up eggs that they found during the hunt.
My darling Zachary.
We also went to the base Easter Egg Scramble. The had a roped area where they dumped out eggs. Seth's age group was 3 and under, so parents were allowed to help. Which I think every parent did except me. It was crazy. Seth disappeared in all the madnes. I was a little worried that he wouldn't get anything because I saw so many adults grabbing the eggs. When I finally found him, his basket was full. There was a little girl we saw who had only one egg, so I asked Seth to share one with her, and he thought about for a minute, then gave her one. This is Seth playing at the park afterwards.

Sick and Tired

My sweet Seth has the flu! It is almost exactly a year from when he had it last time. Between Seth and Zac my average sleep per night for the last few days has been about four hours. Of course all broken up. Seth is holding fluids down, so we shouldn't have to do the whole IV thing again. Haven't heard from Ryan yet, but in the Navy not hearing anything is actually a good thing. Hope everyone had a Happy St. Patty's Day.

Just us Today

We are going to a wedding of some dear friends of ours today. This is how Seth will be dressed. Isn't he handsome? Miss Carla (the bride) is one of Seth's favorite babysitters. The last time she watch him they decorated sugar cookies, and of course Seth dumped as many sprinkles as he could onto his.

Look at how happy I am? If only he'd always be this happy. Zac drools a lot right now and tries to chew on everything! Classic teething signs. He does have some redness on the right side of his gums, but I sure hope he waits a couple more months to get teeth.

And for those who want to see one of the few pictures of me I have, here it is. It was taken before I was pregnant with Zac, so I am not quite that skinny yet. I hate going to weddings without Ryan. All it does is make me miss him more.

Under the Sea!

Ryan left for deployment today. We said our good-bye's yesterday morning because he had duty. I don't think Zac will notice too much that Daddy is gone, but Seth is as always sad. Hopefully we will keep busy at least the next week or so to make the transition easier. We love and will miss him!

Here is one of those America's funniest video clips!

The fact that I figured out how to put a video on here is amazing.

Zac's First Jumping Day!

Ryan put together the Johny Jump Up for Zac today. It almost reminds me of a straight jacket. We kept pulling his arms up and out, but Zac kept putting them back down by his side.

Zac didn't quite get the whole jumping thing, but he sure loved chewing on that bar!

And of course, Seth wants to be in all the pictures.

This is Seth and Zac. Aren't they the cutest boys! I am going to working on how everything works on blogger program. My goal is to make it easier for everyone to see pictures and stuff.

Bayer Beginnings

It all began on a typical high school day when a nervous girl asked a very sweet boy if he'd like to go out sometime. Three years later and very much in love they got married. Two years and 9 months later came son number one, followed by son number two three years after that. That's the simple and plain explanation of how the Bayer's came to be. We are Ryan, Kim, Seth & Zac. Welcome to sharing some of our busy lives!
