Story Time!

So I was trying to think of the more interesting stories that happened on our trip that I didn't have pictures to go with. Here are a few that I came up with.

On our way home from UT we started our drive in Salt Lake, UT and made it to Yakima, WA. We did stop to stretched every couple hours and let the kids run/crawl around, but we were pretty much driving from 9 am to midnight. When we finally got to our hotel that night, and carried Seth into the room. He said, "Is this my bed?" Ryan said yes. Seth crawls up with into and hugs the pillow with a great big smile on his faceand falls back asleep. He was sooo happy to be able to lay down instead of sleep in the truck. It was very cute.

When we were drving to find my sister Tiffany's house, she lives in the middle of nowhere, Ryan kept reading all the different housing developments signs. One of them said, Big Lots turn right and next stop. "They have a Big Lots built right next there houses?" Ryan asks thinking it was the Discount store. I laughed at him and then explained they were big lots to build new houses on.

While driving Ry and I were playing the alphabet game and I said my word for "G" and the Ryan goes look " K is for knight, L - something, M - something else. I don't remember the words. But he did it really fast and then said it was my turn. I looked at him and asked, "What happened to H, I & J?"

Sally's wedding was at the golf course and because the music was really really loud, Zac wanted to be outside a lot. So when Seth joined us for a little bit I was showing him the toads. We found one up near the building so I picked it up to put it back in the grass, and it peed on me. I should of known that they almost always do that. Seth found it very funny though.

When Seth was trying on his tux at the Men's Wearhouse, Ryan put Zac in the mirror area. Zac looked to the left and could see lots of babies, so he would wave his arm and see his reflections wave back, laugh. Then he'd look right, shake his head, see reflections, laugh. He'd look straight and just see one reflection, look puzzled, then look back to the side and start playing with all those babies again.

Utah & the Wedding

I uploaded these pictures backwards, so we actual went to Utah on our way home after the wedding. This is me and the boys in Temple Square, Salt Lake City.
Salt Lake City Temple. I took this picture standing on the roof of the Conference Center. The Roof has gardens and water fountains if you ever get to go. Very pretty.
The Christus.
We went to a The Boondocks Funland with my sister Tiffany and her two kids to get some excess energy out. Zac kept crawling away from our area, and for a game just his size.
That's Seth in the red stripes. He was chasing his cousin Jessie all over the playhouse. It looked like something from gladiators for kids.
Yup! He's a keeper!
All dressed up to be Aunty Sally's ring barer.
Aren't we hadsome?

Seth flirting and dancing with this little girl. That's somes up our trip. Thank you to everyone who posed for pictures for our Loved Ones collage. And if I haven't gotten your black and white picture yet, I will!!!

Boating & Flying

We were able to go boating this trip with Uncle Rob. Thanks for letting us borrow the boat! It was a scorching 115 degrees out. Zac was not happy about the life jacket, but as you can see he got used it.
It took some time, but Seth finally figured out he could swim all by himself with the lifejacket on.
The water was nice and cool, but not frigid like up here in WA. A perfect day for a swim.
Seth, Rob, and Ryan swimming to the other side of the cove. Luckily they saw the rattlesnake slithering across the beach into the bush on the right before they were there. According to Seth it was going to feed it's babies.
Rob also took Ryan and Seth flying in an airplane. Seth was really excited because he loves planes. Cool Dudes.
Ryan took this picture of the Dam.

Seth had so much fun he fell asleep!

Fun with Grandparents!

The boys enjoy swimming in the jacuzzi with Papa Bayer. A big change from their carseats. Due to the lack of swim diapers Zac got to swim all natural.
We spent the fourth of July at a BBQ next door. We were going to go see the firework show at the park in BC and sit right underneath them, but Zac had fevers from teething. So we watched the show at "home". The view was still wonderful; )
Zac and Grandma Bayer
We went bowling with my siblings and Dad for his birthday. Ryan actually won one of the games. He even got a Turkey! Crazy huh?
Zac and Grandma Sylvia were buddies during my bowling turns. He was pretty grumpy about it at first, but then warmed up to her pretty nicely.
Seth has perfect bowling form!

Road Trip Beginning

Seth is very excited to go to Las Vegas. It took him a few hours to realize how long of a drive it was going to be.
Zachary in his carseat. MMMMM Licorice.
We stopped at many parks to picnic and stretch. This one is somewhere in Idaho on our second day of driving. We stopped the first night in La Grande, OR. It was a very nice city.
Seth being silly.
Stretching those legs. Our trip went very well. We took over 200 pictures so it will take a few different postings to get the good ones on the blog for everyone.
