Staying Cool in the Pool!
It was so nice and sunny today, that we put out the new pool for the boys to play in today. Seth has been waiting a couple months to try it out.
The water was super cold! Zac loved to have his toes in the water. When I put his bottom in, however he got very upset at first. A few minutes later we tried againg, and Zac had lots of fun splashing.
Here is Seth posing for the camera. The yellow dolphin is like a weeble for the pool. Seth loved punching it and having it pop back up.
Seth decided he was thirsty and was drinking the water like Coby. He was so proud of himself. But I say yucky!

Hey Batter Batter!
We also bought a new car this weekend! It is so nice having a car that fits the car seat much better! It's a Pontiac G-6. We were looking at the used cars first, but all the ones that met our requirements cost just as much as a new car. It was fun getting to drive the different vehicles.

Alligator
Seth has a new favorite drink! He calls it an alligator. Does you have a guess as to what kind of drink this is? Gatorade. He asks to drink an alligator all the time. We are going to be taking Seth to his first baseball game on Friday. We had lots of fun last weekend, and wanted to share some of the fun with him. Ryan took him to get a Mariners ballcap today. Seth is getting pretty excited. We also finally got preapproved for a car loan, so now we can start looking to find me a "new" used car. Zac now wants to be sitting all the time. If you lay him on his back he gets really mad. Still no teeth, but he chews on everything!

Happy Mother's Day!

Lots of Stuff!
So, the other day I took pictures of the boys to show how much I think they look alike. Do you agree? They love to play with each other all the time. Of course Seth always wants whatever Zac has. He has learned to "trade" toys with his little brother. However Zac has become quite opinionated, and if Seth takes something that Zac really likes, you'll hear a very upset crying baby. As soon as you give Zac back whatever it is he smiles and acts like nothing happened at all.
I also went to the doctor today because my wrist has been hurting super bad this last week. Turns out I have a severe case of tendonitis, and will have to wear a brace until it feels better. Unfortunately because my wrist and thumb are so inflamed it with probably take at least six weeks! Not fun. I do have to do different stretches and exercises that should help it heal faster.

Ryan's Last Duty Night!
Today is Ryan's last duty day for a few months! We can finally have actual weekends again. We are going to go to the Seattle Mariners baseball game on Saturday with some friends of ours who have two extra tickets. Seth will stay with a sitter, but we hope to take him to a game this summer. We bought Seth a soft bat and baseball and are going to take him to the park on Friday to play. He already loves to play catch with his mit. I've been pretty good at doing "homework" with Seth this week. He loves getting stickers for his progress charts. He also finished his first alphabet workbook. We're still working on following the directions. He likes to circle or color all the answers, not just the correct ones. I am pretty sure Zac is getting his first tooth, but I guess I'll have to wait a couple more days to be sure.

The things kids say.
I got out the baby bath chair for Zac because he is too big for the one we were using. Seth asks, " Did that use to be mine when I was a baby? " I said "Yup." That was about a week ago. Yesterday, Seth comes in the bathroom to watch me give Zac a bath again, and this time he says, "Don't let Zac go pee pee in my chair Mom, or I'll get really mad. You got that? I'll get really mad if he pee pees in my chair!" He was so concerned. I almost wanted Zac to pee just to see Seth's reaction, but it's probably better that he didn't.
This week has been pretty good. Now that Daddy is back, Seth is starting to sleep better again. Seth did have a super bad allergy rash break out, but now that he is taking Benadryl three times a day it is clearing up. Zac is rolling all over the place. He sure is determined to scoot to everything he's not supposed to have. I finally reached my pre-pregnancy weight! That was cool. Ryan still has to work everyday, but just another week and he'll have the weekends back! And the sun has even come out a couple times.
