IT'S HERE!!!

We had our church talent show on Friday, and Ryan signed up to play guitar. He played a medley of songs. Zac and Seth were rocking out of course in the audience, front and center. It was a lot of fun and everybody's talents were a success.
Now the moment we've been waiting for. It's here! Ryan's super awesome guitar is here. He got the call today at work, and was out the door within minutes.

Karate!

On Monday I was helping Ryan decide what to play on his guitar for the church talent show on Friday. Seth was playing Guitar Hero Downstairs while Zac was sleeping. We'd only been upstairs for about 20 minutes. When we went to to start making dinner this is what we found.
Seth asleep! He'd fallen asleep in the middle of a song.
We signed Seth up for karate today! He is so excited. He had a lot of fun during the "interview". Sensei Sal is the owner of the place and very nice. Seth's class will be 4-6 year olds. He is starting in the white uniform and white belt. His class is called the ninjas. His first real class will be on Friday. Seth is very excited.

Zac will be eighteen months old on Friday. I get to take him to get his shots, yeah : (

Fun Times!

It has been a while since a last posted. I think now that Ryan is around all the time I'll probably only post every couple weeks. Anyhow, we've been keeping busy doing lots of fun things. We had a couple of nice weeks of sunshine. Most of it spent playing outside. Last Sunday we went on a family bike ride to a park in the middle of housing. Behind the park is this creek. It was 90 degrees outside this day, so the boys were ready for a cool down!
Zac kept trying to follow Seth up the big rocks.

Seth would hold Zac's hand to help him walk through the water. Unfortunately as you can see people throw their trash in the creek. The boys had a lot of fun, and we'll probably go back a couple times this summer.

Last night we went to the Carnival. It's right by the housing youth center. We went with some old friends from WA that were on the boat with us. Here is Zac riding a pony.

Here is Zac and Seth riding fire truck. Zac is sitting next to Jeremiah, but you can see him in this picture. Seth picked the seat. We laughed because they could have sat in the front. Zac had so much fun that we had to rip him off of the steering wheel. He was so mad!

Seth on the train. Zac was to small for this ride.

When we got home last night we had a visitor on our back patio! We had never seen a salamander before. That's Ryan's hand to give you a size ratio.

Easter Pictures!

We had a wonderful Easter last weekend. We took the boys to an Easter egg hunt at the church on Saturday. Enjoyed a nice service Sunday morning, and then the Easter bunny snuck into our house while the boys were playing at the park. Thank you to everyone who sent cards and goodies to us.
Zac's cheeks are stuffed with candy!
"I found one!"

Oh Boy!!!

Zac really liked putting stickers on the eggs. He also liked dropping them in the cups of dye.

Dying more eggs! Seth had lots of fun mixing colors. Ryan was pretty funny. He had to make sure that his eggs were perfect. Maybe it's because we haven't had him home for Easter in a few years.

This was when we were setting up. Both boys were so excited.

Family Home Evening

Every Monday we have Family Home Evening. We get together sing a song, have a gospel lesson and then play a game followed by dessert. My pictures are backwards because I always load them in the wrong order. Above is Zac giving Seth a kiss during dessert.
This picture was taken early yesterday. Seth like to pretend he is Daddy by wearing his old badge. Because Ryan has his black work boots at work he wears my black boots. He calls Zac Chief, but tells him what to do. Seth chose this pose. He said Mommy take a picture of me, but wait. He went from standing to squating. Smiling to the frump face and then mumbled, "ok now." What a silly boy!

MMMM! Cookies!

Our lesson was on Trying to be like Jesus. Our game was to pop the balloons by sitting on them, then reading the paper that was inside. Here is Zac sitting on his balloon.

Seth sitting on his balloon. It took Ryan sitting on the balloon, Seth sitting on Ryan, Zac on Seth, and Me pushing on Ryan's shoulder's to pop the first balloon. We used tweezers to stab the rest of the balloons. The boys really liked that!

We started the night by singing Old Mac Donald. As the song goes the boys get to pick the next animal and put it on the board. Zac loves this song.

On top of Daddy's Boat! Thought you'd all enjoy these! Today is sunny however the rest of the week looks wet. April showers bring May flowers, right?

Just a couple of Pictures!

Zac is growing three teeth right now. Two molars and one canine. As you can probably guess he is a little on the grumpy side. I took this picture today during his nap. My favorite time of day sometimes. We tucked Setha nd Zac in bed last night at the same time for the first time. They both went to sleep pretty quickly and no tears! Hopefully it will work again tonight.
Seth completely another workbook today! It was his numbers one. There were lots of extra stickers, so we had to use them!
