HAPPY SPRING!

Now if it would only warm up to spring temperatures. I am sick today with fevers. Think it is just the bug that's going around. Seth was really cute today trying to take care of mommy. He had asked Daddy if they could set up his drumset, and was told he needed to wait until I felt better. At dinner tonight Seth asked Mommy when are you going somewhere, so I can play my drums? I told him I was staying home because sick people shouldn't be going places. He responds, "but Mommy you can go to the hospital." He is getting too smart.

Ryan is enjoying work still. He leaves at about 7 in the morning, comes home for lunch for about an hour, and then works until about 2:30 or 3:00. He also has been working with the boys scouts at church once a week. He has a lot of fun with them and they are going on a super long bike ride next weekend. Ryan is getting pretty anxious for his new guitar to come. Every day he waits for that phone call.

Seth and Zac have discovered Veggie Tales, and love singing and dancing to their cd. They are beginning to play with each other more and more, of course they fight with each other too. Seth is really close to doing monkey bars at the park by himself. We just hold onto one of his legs while he goes across. He just needs the confidence that he can do it by himself. Zac is finally done nursing! He is growing two more molars. And talking a lot. His favorite question is, "Where'd it go?" He loves socks, and has to get a new pair of them everytime we go into his room. I'll have to get more pictures of these two.

Having Fun!

Here are the boys waiting for Daddy to come home. All three of them get so excited when they know he's coming. We've been keeping busy lately. Mostly trying to organize the house. We only have a few boxes in the house left to unpack, but then theirs the garage. I think we'll wait for the warm weather before we attempt the garage. It is still super cold here. Our high's have been in the 30's but suppose to be in the 40's tomorrow!
We took Seth to the Dinosaur Place about 20 minutes from our house. It's actually a Natural History museum. This is Seth digging in the mine for treasure. He found lots of rocks to put in his bucket.

Then he got to learn what kinds of rocks he collected. Of course with Daddy's help.

This is the "Gold Mine".

Zac really liked the water.

Seth got to pan for "gold". Of course it was only pyrite, but he had lots of fun. He got to keep all that he found which. Whenever a kid found a larger nugget they got to yell Eureka!

Seth with T-Rex!
Zac is now walking up and down the stairs with the assistance of the wall for balance. Sometimes he goes so fast it scares me. I have a cute video of him saying peek a boo but it wasn't loading right, so I'll try again later.

Getting Bigger!

We had to buy the boys new church clothes because they were both growing our of there old ones. Zac is so cute all dressed up.
Seth is becoming such a big boy. No longer in toddler sizes at all. He got to pick out his tie, and I think he did a good job too.

This is Seth after playing the best Wii bowling ever. He has the highest score out of all of us.

This is a picture of Seth's score card. Yup he got a 212! 7 Stirkes! And 2 spares!

Pippen the Owl!

I took the boys to see an owl at the community center behind our house today. The owl's name was Pippen. Seth was very interested in the lady as she talked about owl's and the many different types there are.
The owl mask that Seth made.

Pippen up close!

We have fishe again. Two striped ones. And two red ones. Hopefully I won't kill these ones.

What a Week!

This last wee has been pretty busy, and everytime I tried to blog something came up. I had my birthday last Tuesday. It was a good birthday. We went to dinner and then played on my Wii which was a birthday/anniversary/Valentine's Day present. After cake I opened my other present which turned out to be a pretty watch.
The snow finally melted the other day and we got to venture over to the park behind our house. It is awesome! I'm sure we'll get pictures of the boys playing there a lot this year. It has everything: slides, brindges, a pulley, swings, rock wall, teeter totters, etc. Zac and Seth both had fun.
Ryan and I also celebrated our 7th anniversary. We went to dinner with the boys because we are going to a Valentine's Day dinner/dance on Friday and we didn't think Zac woul handle being left twice in the same week. I got Ryan his new Guitar Hero game, and we have a lot of fun on that too.
I don't know if I already blogged about the fishtank that we got the boys. Well today I managed to kill all three fish. I went to feed the fish and the filter was spitting water out of the back of the tank, and it was a big mess. So I had to empty the tank to get the water that went under wiped up so the wood cart wouldn't get moldy or rot. The boys lost or hid the stress stuff that helps the fish in the water. Zac spilt the bowl with the fish in it. Which I didn't see until the first one was dead. The other two died later. So we bought new fish and more of that stress stuff, and hopefully I won't have to empty the tank completely for cleaning again.
Enjoy the pictures and have a Happy Valentines Day!

Tour Of the Boys Room + More

To give you an idea of how big the boys room is I took pictures at every angle. Seth and Zac now share a room. Seth loves having his little brother sleep in the same room. This picture was taken standing in the closet.
There's the closet and Zac's crib.

This one is taken from the doorway. They've got lots of space to play, huh?

This is Zac with his teddy bear slippers. We found them unpacking. They used to be Seth's.

We went's to our friends daughter birthday party today at to roller rink. Sorry the picture is blurry. Here is Seth attempting to skate. He still hasn't grasped the idea of balance, but at least he kept trying through out the couple hours we were there.

This is Zac with skates too. Zac surprisingly could go a few steps on his own before falling over. They both had lots of fun. Packing us going pretty slow still, but we are definatley making progress.
