June was a busy month!

This week I started off great getting lots of things done eaven a few extra. Then on Wednesday I woke up with this nasty cough that has pretty much slowed me down, and now I'm behind on everything : (
So I stayed home from church because I would just be coughing in the halls there anyways the whole time, and I thought I'd catch up on the blog for the month! Enjoy!
Say "Cheese!"
Yesterday was Seth's first karate tournament! He was excited and nervous as most of the kids there. Above is Sensei Alissa helping Seth practice.

Here is Seth's performance. He was the very first person up! I think he may have done better if someone else had gone before him, so he could see what it was like. We are proud of him for trying his best!

Here are the four kids in Seth's division. His age group had 4 divisions all with 4 kids.

Hooray for Seth he got fourth place in his division!!!! The tournament is designed to help with self confidence. So technically Seth got last place, but all that matter's is that he got up, tried and did his best.

Here's how the boys fell asleep last night!

This is the sunset that made the biggest rainbow Ryan and I have seen. It's hard to see in the pictures because of the lighting, but it was pretty cool!

The right side of the rainbow.

The Top!

Left side.

How does Zac eat an apple?

By spitting the skin on the floor!

Look at my new haircut!

See how long it was?

Seth, Zac and me in the rope jungle gym at the Dinosour Place! I helped Seth to the top!

See the bushes in the background? That's where Zac decided to run and fall down about a 3 ft drop. Nana alsmost had a heart attack.

Who's that stepping on T-Rex's toes? This volcano erupts every hour. Pretty fun for the kids.

We went to the Mystic Seaport with Ryan's mom and Grandma C. We took many more pictures, but since I'm playing catch up here are just a couple.

That's Seth underneath the boat "being built".

Nana took us out for Chuckie Cheese's! Thanks! We had fun.

Seth playing with Grandma and Zac's in the tractor back there.

Camping with Daddy/ Disney World!!!

Seth and Ryan went on a father/son campout the Friday before our trip. They brought their own tent, but ended up in our friend's because they had room.
This is Seth learning how to kindle the fire. Seth enjoyed playing with the "bigger" boys. They let him follow them around all evening.

They had lots of fun, although Seth's smile in this picture almost looks like an angry smile. Next year Zac will get to go too!!

Now for Disney World Pictures! We went this last week and had lots of fun. As with all vacations things did not go as planned, but oh well.
Here's Seth when we checked into our room at the Port Orleans French Quarter. The towels were shaped like Mickey. He was given a sticker and a button that says, "My first trip to Disney World". So was Zac. We arrived at dinner time, so we ate at the hotel and then took the bus to the Magic Kingdom to get in a few rides before bedtime. It was raining, so when we got there lots of people were leaving. Which meant there were no lines!

This is the next day. We got into the Magic Kingdom Park before anything opened because we had a breakfast reservation at one of the restaurants inside. That's why it looks so empty.

This is Zac on the Buzz Lightyear ride. You go around shooting targets! We went on this one five or six times this trip.

After lunch the rain came. Here is Zac in his pancho.

It poured and poured rain the rest of the day. Here are our some of our clothes drying.

This is the boys on the tea cups! Yup we were all soaked!

The next morning it was cloudy, so we decided to take pictures while we could. These are the alligators near the pool at the hotel.

We went to Epcot.

We met Mickey Mouse and all his friends. I have lots of character pictures. We ate at the Coral Reef restaurant and did this really cool dinosaur/energy ride. By 2:00 a big thunderstorm rolled in, so instead of "walking around the world" we headed back to the hotel. One of the lightning flashes was so close I could feel the hair on my arms go up.

When the storm calmed we went back to the magic kingdom to do more rides. Here's Seth the prisoner!

Every day the housekeeper would do something cute with the boys teddy bears. Here's one of them.

Thursday we went to Animal Kingdom. It was Sunny!!!!!! Here we are digging for a dinosaur.

We got a lot of good pictures, so I just chose some of the better ones for you. Here's the giraffe.

These two hippos were playing or fighting! It was very entertaining.

This is the Tree of Life!

Here is a closer look at the Tree of Life. See all the animals in the trunk?

Tiger. We saw a funny T-shirt there that had Winnie the Pooh nose to nose with a tiger with the caption, "Is that you Tigger?"

Seth on the Star Wars racer. Oh we were Hollywood Studios Friday. We took this while waiting in line to meet Chewy and an ewock. But they had to go in for a thunderstorm. We were next in line too. It was frustrating, but within five minutes the storm came and it was HUGE! Wind, rain and lightning everywhere. We took shelter in an Indiana Jones gift shop.

Backtracking before the storm. The boys played at the Honey I Shrunk the Kids park. Here's Zac riding the ant.

Seth did get to meet Darth Vader. And got his signature too!

The boys in their Mickey Ears! Zac wasn't quite sure if he liked them or not.

Seth and Ryan are in the last row here. They had just gone down the big fall in Splash Mountain. This was one of Seth's favorite rides. He also liked pirates, and Big Thunder Mountain.
Friday night the skies did clear up and we finally got to see the fireworks show at the castle. I didn't get pictures because my camera doesn't do night shots well.

IT'S HERE!!!

We had our church talent show on Friday, and Ryan signed up to play guitar. He played a medley of songs. Zac and Seth were rocking out of course in the audience, front and center. It was a lot of fun and everybody's talents were a success.
Now the moment we've been waiting for. It's here! Ryan's super awesome guitar is here. He got the call today at work, and was out the door within minutes.
