Blueberries!

We went to the Maple Lane Farm today with some friends to pick blueberries. Here are the kids getting ready to find a spot to start picking.
Zac is not quite sure what we are doing yet, but he loved wearing the bucket around his neck.

Seth picking. At first we were not finding very many ripe ones, and a lot of dead berries. The amounts of rain this summer have really hurt a lot of the crops this year.

Here's One!

Zac looking gor berries! He would pick a berry and shove it right into his mouth. I think he ate at least 30.

A blue flower in the middle of the pussy willows.

We headed up the hill where the berries were ripe and in good number. Zac decided he needed a break. He was very mad when I made him move.

Look at all our blueberries! Seth was trying to make a grumpy face in the picture. You can tell he's being silly.

Yeah Blueberries! We have them everywhere in the forests here! But I must say I think Norwegian blueberries are far superior to American. They are actually blue in the middle! Not white. But Yum all the same. ;)
